WELCOME

Hindu Samaj Northstowe (HSN) is a registered charity serving Northstowe, Cambridge, and South Cambridgeshire.
We exist to promote Hindu culture, values, education, wellbeing, and community cohesion through inclusive programmes, events, and outreach activities. Our work is rooted in the principles of Sanatan Dharma and shaped by our commitment to public benefit.

Our Work Spans Four Key Areas

1. Culture & Spirituality

We run weekly gatherings, pop-up mandirs, and major festival celebrations. These events help families stay connected to tradition while inviting the wider community to engage and learn.

2. Education & Youth Development

From Dharma for Kids & Teens to STEM workshops, leadership sessions, arts programmes, and school engagement, we invest in the next generation’s learning and confidence.

3. Community Outreach (Seva)

HSN regularly partners with local councils, schools, charities, and community organisations to support social wellbeing. Our seva initiatives contribute to cohesion, inclusion, and collective resilience across the town.

4. Cambridge Temple & Community Centre Project

This initiative aims to create a permanent cultural, spiritual, and community hub for the region — open to all and designed around long-term public benefit.
